There was a photo of dead children laid out after the Chechen school massacre (I would rather not link it). One thin little boy was dressed only in Underoos just like my boy wore when he was little. I was a complete mess for about five minutes.

Children die in acts of war all the time.

But only one side in this war of civilizations sets out, as a primary mission goal, to kill innocents and children on purpose. The children in Chechnya were shot in the back at point blank range as they tried to flee in terror. Suicide bombers look children in the eye as they set off bombs filled with shrapnel and rat poison.

This critical moral difference still seems to elude a lot of people.
