I am well aware that a great many people who make a career of jumping all over me here rarely read any of my citations, data, or other background information that I link to make my points. Like my "cherry-picked" Reuters news article.
The article I linked to named names. I went further, and looked up the website for the meeting itself, the schedules, speakers, and agendas, but decided not to make my point too complicated.
I can list authoritarian leaders who are at least marginally allied with the U.S. and have been working with Bush. Musharaf comes to mind. But the vast majority of them, particularly in the Middle East and Marxist nations around the world, have been hostile to Bush. Only the feelings of Cold War communist leaders about Reagan were more obvious.
