While I thought the theme was a bit overdone (humans bad, nature good), the natural scenes set to music were fantastic. After spending some hours peering at the new HIRISE images from Mars, I was thinking what a fantastic movie someone could make with Mars natural images. To do a proper job would be a big task, but with experts interpreting and interpolating all the rover images, and orbital images, a fantastic view of Mars' planetary diversity would look fine in a IMAX format set to some cool music.
By the way, how amazing are these HIRISE pictures? WOW! To think that Mars has as much land surface area as earth, how many cool things will be discovered. Some perspectives look alien and some very earthlike. Time lapsing seasonal changes would be cool too. Vast canyons and mountains, dune fields and craters, from pole to shining pole, Mars is so cool. It is a shame there isn't a bit more atmosphere that would make a UAV balloon practical.
Does anyone remember the film koyaanisqatsi? Someone do it for mars!
