As interesting as Olympu Mons is, wouldn't monitoring one of the smaller
Martian volcanoes be easier to detect changes?
And how far does the ice extend under the Martian surface? It's contracting
and expanding might play some factor in this, depending on where it is and
how far it spreads under the surface.
