re: STS 3's frst!
I remember after having seen the first 2 landings, STS-1, and 2, at Edwards considering going to White Sands to see STS-3 land. However I had better sense and stayed home and watched it on TV. Actually that was the first time I watched it on TV. I have since managed to see 12 Landings at Edwards. It never gets old.
