Yes, it's indeed a "weapon" of sort.
If the challenger won't identify properly while I do (for instance, e-mail here below, name in Album, etc), and attacks me or my country, then it's a way of responding. Besides, I'm not here to get nerved up by any subject, but to enjoy it.
