it's gonna be a tough call...early each morning, while flipping through the channels, I get treated to 'girls gone wild on the space shuttle'...that, along with your Star Wars trip, is what space is all about to young folks...I remember being thrilled to realize that, after many years, Saturn and Jupiter looked exactly as I'd envisioned them from postage stamp size artist impressions in '50's texts...I was able to project a little disc, with a line across it, into Saturn, and when the pics appeared, my vision was pretty darn close...that'll never happen again...to anyone...
I'd get furious each time a new 'space battle for control of everything' movie caught on...it didn't take a genius to realize that these would be the lasting impressions...we've succeeded at making the unimaginable vastness into a sight gag...typical...
