From what I can gleam it was released last January 27th 2006. I have been trying to find an IMAX theater in Southern California that will show it, but have been told that it’s up to Disney where it is shown, and so far they have not seen fit to show it in the Los Angeles area. If you google it and go to the films official web site it now says it is playing at the Reuben H. Fleet science center in San Diego. That’s as close as it gets to me. Unless I’m going to San Diego for other reasons I guess I’m out of luck. I don’t plan on taking a 2-hour trip just to see it. Moviefone says it was released on DVD 8/1/06. It’s an IMAX movie, why would I want to watch it on DVD. That defeats the whole idea of seeing it on the giant IMAX screen. Come to think of it the theater at the Fleet Science center is not even an IMAX theater. It’s one of the Omnimax domed theater. Oh well if I happen to be down there I’ll go.
