To actually tie this into space-science I should point out that David Grinspoon, planetologist and Venus guru, is Lester's son.
And 'Grinspoon' is a rock/punk band here in the land of Oz, named after Lester and quite fond of weed.
David's (and Carl's) work I find more appetising and head-spinning than de-cerebration via pot-smoking.
