Well, that's scary...
We've started immunizing children against chicken pox, another form of herpes. They would probably get it anyway, if they weren't immunized.
I believe that the chicken pox herpes is different from the cold sore variety. Chicken pox is related to shingles, and cold sores are related to genital herpes. I wonder if it matters?
