Textbook on Planetary Defense from an Alien Invasion
This book gets great reviews. Pricey but probably a fun read.
Seriously, if there were any aliens which I doubt, odds are they'd be SO far beyond us that I'd surmise that none of the strategies described in the book (haven't read it) could apply. Great sci-fi and imagination stretching fodder though.
