re: Reading Moby-Dick for 25 hours straight

Against the Day awaits on my desk, but I've been too busy shovelling snow, doing the holiday thing, and devising drill hole trajectories to read it yet. I'll let you know my review once I get through it, which might be March the way things are going. And I'll be honest: I love some of Pynchon's works, but "V" was difficult and overall unrewarding for the time spent reading it.

I believe I've suggested it before, but I think you might actually enjoy "Vineland" or "Slow Learner". Or not.

My sister sent me a DVD of the Ayn Rand documentary. Started watching it last night; but after shovelling snow for a couple of hours yesterday, I fell asleep after the first half hour. I'll give it another go tonight.
