There are many coneheads who rely on one or two sources for all their information. On all parts of the political spectrum. A surprising number of people, according to a survey I saw somewhere, get their news from Jon Stewart. I like listening to Rush, but only a boob would count on him as a sole source of information. I read Drudge, but often only as a pointer guiding my own research into real sources.
The more sources you use (preferably sources arguing with each other) and the more time you take, the more likely you are to arrive at the truth. Like the exact location of an electron, sometimes you can't pin it down, but even in that case, you can usually get close. This, of course, assumes someone can reason and integrate the widely diverse information, which is a whole different problem.
