I'd never seen that interview, thanks Art. And I agree, Colbert's a genius in his own unique way. He doesn't waste his time with arguing or confronting the whackjobs with facts. He just pays out the rope...hell, he was cranking the spool and burying the guy with more rope than he could handle, agreeing with him all the way, until D'Souza ran full tilt into the noose. At the end there, D'Souza found himself agreeing with bin Laden about America. Colbert let the guy himself find the sweet spot where the cultural intolerance and bigotry of Wingers intersects the cultural intolerance and bigotry of "Islamofascists".

Genius. Sheer genius.
