Of course it's a left and right issue. Any poll that notes responses from Democrats and Republicans makes that extremely clear. Look at the poll links in her article.

And the point I've been making for some time is that national security has always been a left and right issue. If the Cold War didn't make that evident, what would?

Robert, Art put this post mistakenly on Space, but it's a good one, and could it be moved unchanged to CE?
