I have seen way too many activist outfits deliberately disguised as "grassroots" movements. This is just one example. It is misleading at best, and when the media works overtime to disguise the origins. The "spur of the moment" street demonstration also often falls into this category.
Side note: I didn't notice a lot of anti-war "voices of the people" on the street the last two weekends. If I'm right, there should be a lot of them on the 27th. We'll see.
If I need to gore the proper ox to slam the point home, think John E. O'Neill of the Swift Boats organization.
