As we all know, Bush's words do not bear on reality - he'll say anything he believes will make him look good at the moment. It's carefully crafted to leave nothing to not like.
When a Hollywood screenwriter who apprenticed on "Rocky" could have written the State of the Union address and he doesn't get a 110% unconditional positive response that says a lot.
It's not as if it's real. Or true. Or honest.
It's theatre. Acting. For the masses.
