Psychedelic Saturn

Courtesy of Cassini and Spaceflight Now

"This psychedelic view of Saturn and its rings is a composite made from images taken with the Cassini spacecraft wide-angle camera using spectral filters sensitive to wavelengths of infrared light centered at 728, 752 and 890 nanometers."

Also, (changing gears) I recently purchased a 46 inch Sony Bravia LCD television, and I must say that viewing full size images of space on it are jaw dropping. I was checking out some of the 3-D Mars images and felt like I was there. I can highly recommend this televison to anyone in the market for one.

Enjoy, Vince
