Bush warns Iran not to meddle in Iraqi affairs? Does he have no shame, or perhaps just no sense? Bush re-wrote the book on meddling, and taken it to insane new heights. This country doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to making such warnings.

Even I can see the absurdity of it, so it must be pretty blatant.

If getting out of Iraq would prevent a military confrontation with Iran, I say it's high time to get our people home. It wouldn't be cowardice, it'd simply be wise. We had our chance in Iraq, and we've well and truly blown it. No good will come from diving head-first into another catastrophe.
