We could use Radiological Thermal injection!!!
Simply install radiological heat generators in a field of Methane Clathrates cand collect the methane as it is liberated by the heat!!!
We could even use nuclear waste from our nuclear power stations (encased in concrete of course) to generate the heat...
I think I just solved the world's energy problem for the next 200+ years!
