competitor to AutoDesk

Got a proposal for a building for a government entity coming up, and they favor Microstation, so I'm looking at buying a couple of copies for the office to use on projects like that (we do enough of these types of projects, that it might give us an advantage in getting the projects if we can do it in Microstation).

Mainly I'm wondering how easy it will be to use after using AutoDesk products for the past 15 years. I wont be the primary user, but would have to be the support person for it, which means I would need to learn it too.

After looking at their website, they do have verticals like Civil and Architecture. I have a call into a vendor, and am waiting for a return call. They seem to bend over backwards to be able to use Autodesks DWG format, but then they probably have to, considering Autodesk's marketshare.
