Nothing to do with it.
The reason Chinese, in fact, many foreign, kids, are "better" at math and science is because they're not taught at home and by their peer groups that being good at school is for sissies. The only reason the Asians come off as math whizzes is that their family values are more resistant to integration with US popular culture. Give them a few more generations and they'll be just like everybody else.
