Not to be outdone, "White House mulls release of intel on Tehran."
"U.S. weighs how much proof to divulge about Iran’s meddling in Iraq." Bush doesn't want to be accused of an intelligence gap.
The demonizing continues. As a previous citation said,
"It's absolutely parallel, they're using the same dance steps - demonise the bad guys, the pretext of diplomacy, keep out of negotiations, use proxies. It is Iraq redux"
"Philip Giraldi, a former CIA counter- terrorism specialist, in Vanity Fair, on echoes of the run-up to the war in Iraq."
Seems legitimate to me for Iran to not want the US next door, either in Iraq or Afghanistan. The US is a threat to their national security. After all, Bush is a sworn enemy of Iran, and the US hasn't been kind to them.
A bit more legitimate than the US being in Iraq. Which wasn't a threat to the US national security.
Ya wonder how badly Bush can screw up the world before he's done. Seems to me his ego trips, his demanding that because he says so other nations should bow, cause a lot of trouble and don't settle anything.
Arf
Iran has proof of US meddling in Iraq.
