Diffraction rings, caused by the wave nature of light.
All telescope star images have them, but they only are bright enough to see around the brighter star images. They are caused by wave interference with the telescope tube edges. The crosses centered on the bright stars are also diffraction effects, caused by light interfernce from the interior mirror supports. You will note on astrophotos that only reflecting telescope pictures display these.
