Since nobody seemed to like my idea of sequestering the worlds' carbon supply in the form of charcoal... I have decided that we will instead use the cellulose to feed a colony of termites which will in turn manufacture a nearly inexhaustible supply of methane gas!!!

Termites: Feed them cellulose in any form, and they produce methane!

Great source of protein too! We can feed them to tilipia and other fish, thus satisfying the world's demand for fish!
