I saw a B-1 on the tarmac, up close, at an airshow at Moffett Field in Sunnyvale. It is the most beautiful and all-around jaw-dropping aircraft I've ever seen. I was very familiar with it, but seeing it "in person" was very different from looking at a photograph or even a model.
Only the Spitfire and Bf 109 came close for sheer esthetics.
