I've built 3 now, with very, very few problems. And I'm a nosepicker, truly not mechanically inclined. I built my own house, with my own hands, but that's on a macro scale. Anything smaller is beyond me.
You can choose your own power supply, and, like Tom, I recommend the largest you can afford. The heat sink for my CPU is copper and weighs 2 pounds. The bracket holding it says not over 1 pound, but so far no problems.
The good MBs and cases match so well now that it's virtually foolproof. Either that or I was very, very lucky, or both. I also threw fans in like peanuts to an elephant at the zoo. The air inside there is swirling all around before it's kicked out both in the front at top and the rear at the bottom.
Because I wanted it that way. And, it was a pleasant surprise to turn it on and have it work.
I don't think you'd have any problems. You might have to learn the voltage and polarity equivalents of some letters for connections.
