Did you ever wonder where those flags came from?
There they are, victorious troops entering the recently liberated village, town or city. Civilians line the streets and balconies and hang out the windows, yelling and cheering.
Many if not all are waving identical flags of the liberator, as well as passing out flowers.
Did you ever wonder where they got those flags? Did they have them hidden, just waiting for liberation, thereby risking their lives, and their families lives?
Nope. As you guessed they are passed out by PR people who went through the village in front of the liberating folks. All staged.
