I have no trouble with WWII analogies. Probably because I have no trouble with abstract ideas.
That particular post you link to was my way of pointing out the idiocy of people wondering why enemies somehow seem to show up in great numbers during an active war.
Not surprisingly, it had nothing whatsoever to do with the point I made above, except that both mentioned a WWII scenario.
