Blatant propaganda: "New Iranian banknote boasts nukes"
That's the headline on Drudge and The Jerusalem Post.
"New Iranian banknote boasts nukes"
Now, "nukes" is used to denote nuclear weapons. Yet the article explains that it's merely an atomic symbol which is on the banknote, not a bomb or missile. A symbol which does not imply weapons.
And Iran says it wants nuclear power, just like a lot of other countries. No reason why it shouldn't have nuclear power, either.
Anyway, the mass hysteria drums are pounding away. Lots of people will just read the headline and move on.
The True Believers will torture the language over this one. Well, as I pointed out, they already have.
