Around 1998 CompUSA bought Computer City which was located out west, That cut competition and CompUSA proved to be greedy by charging high prices. I hardly ever purchased anything at CompUSA but used them to check out an item then but it online. The Vegas area only has 2 CompUSA's at the time and surprisingly one will stay opened. For the Vegas area Fry's has the deals and still beats the CompUSA’s price even with CompUSA’s store closing sale. The Mexican billionaire that owns CompUSA is still trying to screw their customers with high prices even when the store is deep sixed. CompUSA is going where it belongs, good reddens. The only non online store I buy electronics from is Fry’s Electronics. Fry’s even beats Wal Marts prices, not that Wal Mart has much to offer in the computer department.
