I can both think and emote, but I know which one is more likely to reflect reality.
You're practically a textbook illustration of this.
The video, and the rest of the website (you DID read it, right?) is a classic example of the "equivalence" theme I discussed in my post, and seems to have eluded you.
I can see the problem with leftist marchers who used to claim to stand for freedom and opposition to oppression, marching side by side with radical Islamists. You can't. That's thinking.
There would be peace in the Middle East a week after the Palestinian leadership stopped trying to destroy Israel, and called off the bombings and violence.
If the Israelis pulled out of the West Bank to their earlier borders, pulled out all the army and police, and simply shut down their military, the war would still continue, and bombs would still go off in cafeterias. Pulling out of Gaza and Lebanon bought Israel exactly nothing.
If there had been no insurgency in Iraq, we'd have gone home years ago, and the violence would have stopped when the insurgents and terrorists stopped.
There's the difference in the two sides. Among many, many others. Realizing that also takes thinking. I could care less that Palestinan moms and Israeli moms both feed their kids Cheerios.
