This issue was dead the moment two years of investigation turned up indictments on one person for lying to authorities, and absolutely zero charges on anyone else, or anything related to leaking classified information. You can interpret what was "made obvious" any way you like. Apparently it was never obvious enough for the prosecutor.
The media is going to spend weeks inflating this in the same way you're trying to.
