Again, the issue is Walter Reed.
I have followed the government health care issue for some time, and believe it or not, the VA system has improved drastically in recent years under new leadership (installed under Clinton, not Bush, to keep things honest). It actually has become a pretty good example of how to run a government health care system.
Walter Reed is not run by the Veterans Adminstration, but the DoD. Attempts by our side our theirs to mush all this together are misleading.
