Don't get me wrong, the ANS farce was a borderline freak show, but it has nothing in common with the parading around of James Brown's corpse by people trying to bask in his postmortem publicity. Anna Nicole Smith died on February 8, 2007 and was buried on March 2, 2007. She had been dead for 3 weeks, and a good portion of the hold up was due to a police investigation and legal fight over the body.
James Brown died on December 25, 2006 and was laid to rest (although not permanently) on March 10, 2007. He has been dead for almost 3 months and there hasn't been any legal investigation to postpone a funeral. In his case, it's been due to people parading his corpse around like some sort of fashion accessory/holy relic for their own personal sense of self worth.
This has nothing to do with race, and I'm not the one who brought it up. This is about ghoulish greedy people carrying around a decomposing body for their own purposes.

Actually, there's nothing in common.
