Spam. Mine is up, and a solution or two.

Mine have skyrocketed. It's ridiculous. I receive probably 20 times as much unwanted traffic as legitimate, much of the same ads.

What a burden on the internet.

I have a two-fold plan.

First, for a first offence, anyone who purchases ANYTHING from a company which benefits from spam watch 24 hours of re-runs of "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" over the course of three days in jail. In their native language. There will be NO recidivism, I promise.

Then, I would suggest that any company benefiting from spam be fined. They may claim that they had nothing to do with it.
Make spam prima facie evidence of guilt. Make them have to prove innocence, that they neither caused, encouraged nor profited from it.

Give the owners, managers and all employees two weeks in Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib or the Eastern European CIA prison of their choice to reflect upon what they've done and prove their innocence. Let 'em make one local phone call each. If they have the dime, or quarter, or zloty or whatever.

If they haven't demonstrated innocence beyond any doubt,

then shoot 'em.

But with compassion. FMJ bullets.

Again, no recidivism.

Foolproof plans.

Nap time. I feel a bit like Newtown must have when the apple bounced off his head. Or Archimedes when he slipped climbing out of the tub.

Or how Einstein felt when he hit his thumb with a hammer and experienced directly the conversion of mass into energy.
