As you've probably guessed, I placed the response above under the wrong post.
I suppose my major difference with you is that I am much more suspicious and afraid of zealotry than I am of philosophy. I am more concerned about the amplitude of the wave than I am its frequency, and I could probably be comfortable in any political/economic/social system as long as it didn't take itself too seriously, and wasn't too eager to have me see the light. People who are afraid of what I say fear me, and people who fear me are a threat to me, because they see me as a threat to them.
