The last election has been sold by the Left as a thundering mandate on Iraq. Yet Republicans, and even many Democrats, are somehow acting as though their voters might not be playing along with the mandate theory.

Why is that?

If the mood of the nation is what the Democrats are telling us it is, they should be out front with shutting down funding and stopping the war in its tracks. Have you SEEN the House legislation? Not only is it watered down, but about four metric tons of pork have been added to bribe legislators.
