I like the idea that you could use magnets to collect the dust and move it to where it is needed.
Need more sheilding? take a magnet out and collect it... Kind of like moving old cars aroung the junkyard with an electro magnet.
might also use an electro magnet to clean the particals off your solar collectors and telescope optics.
As for the safety hazard, I'll volunteer to run the luner lab that will test the soil's effects on rodents.
I hate rats anyway.
