Sure, why should we give the Iraqis any credit to run their country when WE have stirred the violence? I'm not sure what you're thinking Tom, but I don't think the violence would be glorified anymore, and may even be cut in half if WE stop bombing, shooting, killing, maiming, etc.
We'd take away their theatre.
And some would just go back home, weary from the jihad.
