From the land of lower math--
Can you describe a two dimensional surface in three dimensions that is simultaneoulsy convex AND concave.
I don't mean like a sphere, which is convex on the outside and concave on the inside, I mean a surface which is simultaneously convex and concave when seen from one side. And it exhibits this behavior at every point on the surface.
Hint: It is negatively curved.
