"Change" is an odd thing to be against in nature.
The Grand Canyon, after all, used to be a flat plain.
I'm not in favor of covering the walls of the canyons with condominiums, although ancient Indians had no problems doing things like that. But this seems to be a very minor thing, and the photos show some effort to blend in as best as possible.
Unlike some people out there, I don't believe that human works always desecrate nature just by being there.
