Of course, she would have to laugh or appear a poor sport.
On the other-other hand, the whole discussion has become about the nature of political ads rather than about the meaning of this particular ad, so she can afford to laugh, and to make even more metacommentary.
I love Budweiser commercials and will watch them and talk about them happily, but I will never drink their beer. If the public is talking about the commercial but not drinking the beer, the content is lost in the noise.
