There are a lot of oil barons in Texas. There are a lot of oil barons in the world. We all NEED oil to survive. Our commerce, travel and sustainablity depend on it. And I think those obscene profits should be regulated by our government. It amounts to nothing more than price gouging.

While middle class America and small businessess sink lower on the economic scale and the collapse of some seem imminent, it then might be too late to regulate the bawdy wealth those in the oil industry have amassed off the back of hard-working Americans with this bawdy, oil owned and operated Administration.

GWB's grab of power insured massive wealth for his buddies and war re-construction projects and a complete unbalancing of the power of the American people. If the republicans maintain power and get to control our water supplies in the future, some people won't be able to afford to bathe or drink clean water.

>"Where were you when oil company profits were in the crapper for years prior to this? "

Obviously busy minding my own business.
The facts in the above article speak for themselves.
