Pelosi's approval rating dropped five points since January, and her disapproval rating went up nine points. I doubt that's all Rush Limbaugh's fault.

Note page 9, the question on Democratic handling of Iraq:

40 percent approval, 57 percent disapproval, with 30 percent strongly disapproving.

Combine that with Congress' current overall 40 percent approval rate, and I'm wondering where the "Great Mandate" the Democrats keep talking about is coming from?

Their behavior, couching the agenda in other pork-filled bills, and lobbying and whipping like hell to get the withdrawal bill out of the House by 218-212, and then managing to pass the bill by two votes in the Senate, implies they know damn well there's no mandate.
