Now this guy can't figure out that the issue isn't the right to fire, it's lying. And prosecutors, cops, and juries figure that if somone lies they are hiding something.
WASHINGTON - "Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Sunday he has done nothing improper in the firings of eight federal prosecutors in testimony prepared for his appearance before a Senate panel widely viewed as a last chance to save his job.
"I have nothing to hide," Gonzales said in a statement released Sunday."
And this guy is getting paid. Not realizing that credibility is important for the head of the Department of Justice.
And they there's Wolfowitz. Considering their backgrounds it's understandable that integrity, honesty and ethics would seem to be an optional luxury for holding high offices.
Very, very sad that our country has come to this. From a married man lying about a blow job to total corruption in 10 years.
Arf
Gonzales: 'I have nothing to hide'. (Why did he lie, then?)
