"Al-Sadr followers quit Iraq Cabinet posts "
"Departure of six ministers seen as blow to the al-Maliki government."
Conservative response?
Kill him. Like that worked with Saddam.
Obviously it would be easier to deal with al-Sadr than with 30 different militias. Like it or not, he is a large part of the Iraq nation, and his people are a large part of the "democracy" the US is dying to bring to them. And they want the US gone. As do the majority of people in the US.
"Oh, what a tangled web they weaved, when Cheney and MacBush endeavored to deceive" to paraphrase. Not only tangled web, but tyranny.
