32 Dead

Reading the article provides a shocking statistic and helps put things in perspective:

Industrial accidents killed more than 127,000 people in China in 2005

This little news item will get almost no coverage. The carnage at Virginia Tech, the 50 killed in recent Iraq bombings and the drug shoot out in Rio that killed 20 will be the focus of the media. Why? Because the media is a financial and political tool and the news you see is designed to support certain agendas. One of those agendas is the extraction of US forces in Iraq, dissuading any future action against Iran regardless of how they thumb their nose at the UN and creating a sense of helplessness in the average individual who tunes in.

It's all about skewing perspective and keeping people off-balance, fearful and controlling the minds of the masses with carefully filtered news.

127,000 people can die in China in a single year just from industrial accidents and the western media could care less. Instead any and all political casualties from the usual places, regardless of how few, will be exploited, and the statistics from same replayed daily for the unsuspecting masses to narrowly focus and fixate upon.
