Thank you. My reason for asking?
If the moon can drag tides around, what effect would any infinitessimal contracting of Earth's orbit have?
Can you say Climate Crisis?
Let's get something up there, and take some thermal images of our atmosphere, being sucked away, in a vortex toward ol' Sol.
You heard it here first...this is part of my entry in the Virgin Earth Challenge...$25mil...and all we have to show is a degrading orbit...isn't there some indication that the whole shebang is contracting?
It explains everything, and frees up bazillions for recovery from our addiction to Petro Chem...we would just have to adapt...consciously...
Even the most foolhardy GeoEngineer wouldn't attempt re-expanding Earth's orbit, would they?
Of course they would...if it can be imagined, some fool will make it their mission...YIKES!
