I think all Europe is looking for a leader [a statesman]
who has the charisma of a John Kennedy; the oratory
skill of a Winston Churchill; a diplomatic ability of a
Henry Kissinger; the economic instincts of an Alan Greenspan;
with an intelligence and intellectual skill of an Einstein;
and a military/geopolitical talent of a Napolean Bonaparte.
Of course Europe would have to give its EU/WEU
presidential office genuine political authority over all European
nations for such a leader to emerge.
Such genuine political authority for an EU/WEU President over all Europe
is going to happen sooner or later, and I think a major calamity
or catastrophe will probably bring it to pass [perhaps due to deadly massive superflooding
of most of Netherlands and its people from a superstorm over
the North Sea; or from a worldwide pandemic; or a worldwide
economic collapse; or perhaps a mushroom cloud over Copenhagen]
I shudder in alarm over the possibilty of such a European leader
with genuine Presidential power over all Europe emerging in such circumstances...
Napolean Bonaparte and Hitler came to power due to economic or political
upheavels in their countries.
